Fabric Production Process:
To create our fabrics, we employ a natural bleaching process using potash alum. This is followed by printing with dyes derived from plants and food sources. Unless otherwise stated, all our fabrics are made of 100% cotton, and we exclusively use vegetable dyes for printing. For more details, please refer to the information provided on our shop cover. To treat the fabric, you can either use steam or a hot iron.
Our cotton block print fabric is known for its soft and smooth texture. It is produced by utilizing dyes obtained from plants and natural minerals. We create a variety of base colors through a resist-dyeing technique, wherein a clay paste is applied to the fabric and allowed to dry. Once dried, the fabric is immersed in a plant dye solution and then subjected to multiple cycles of washing and drying. Specific patterns are achieved by using carved wooden blocks. This versatile fabric can be used to make a range of items such as dresses, tops, tea towels, tablecloths, pillow or cushion covers, draperies, outdoor beach mats, quilts, sewing projects, beach dresses, bikinis, nightdresses, and more.
For inquiries regarding bulk orders, please contact us directly.Please be aware that fabric pieces cut to a length smaller than five yards are unsellable to me. Consequently, I'm unable to accept returns for such small cuts. To ensure you receive the right fabric for your needs, I recommend ordering a sample size of 0.1 yards.
In the event that I do accept returns, it's the buyer's responsibility to cover the return postage fees. Upon receipt of the returned item, I will issue a refund minus the shipping costs. As a small business, I strive to offer exciting fabrics at competitive prices, but unfortunately, I'm unable to absorb shipping expenses. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
